What is the one thing everyone on this planet has in common? It's something that moves us, makes us happy, sad, excited, relaxed, euphoric and connected. Take a guess. If you've guessed something other than music, well you're certainly not the sharpest stick in the dam. It's literally in the blog title.
Music is part of our human history, evolution....it comes to us instinctively. It connects everyone regardless of language, background, culture, religion, age or ability. Music is The Great Unifier and it is personally one of my strongest passions.
I have been deeply immersed in music since the age of 5, starting off learning how to play the piano. Immediately, I fell in love with playing an instrument and was determined to grow as a musician. Over the years, I became a trained percussionist and taught myself how to play the guitar and harmonica. It has expanded my creativity, my curiosity for songwriting and composing and has given me a love for all different musical genres.
Music has allowed myself to work harder, muti-task, invent, imagine and think on a deeper level than I may have without it. It has affected every aspect of my life and will always be a huge part of it. It's inexplicable magic and has the power to change every one of our lives in the most positive way.
